Mounds Brownies

“These are wonderful and taste like heaven!” notes longtime recipe contest entrant and past winner Andersen.

1 box “family size” brownie mix (about 20 oz.)
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
5 1/3 cups coconut
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 can chocolate frosting

Make brownies as directed on box. Cool. In a large bowl mix coconut, condensed milk and powdered sugar. Mix well. Spread coconut mixture on brownies.
Remove foil and lid from the can of frosting. Microwave the frosting for 10 seconds. Pour over coconut brownies and refrigerate until set.
Store in refrigerator.

Note: tint coconut with green or red food coloring for a festive look.
