Hot Apple Cider

From the kitchen of: Gary & Lynn McDonald, Roseville

Ingredients:

1 gallon cider

1 cup brown sugar

6 small sticks of cinnamon

1 Tablespoon whole cloves

1 teaspoon nutmeg fresh orange slices

 

Instructions:

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes (or warm in crockpot).

Serve warmed with orange slice for garnish

Makes 15 to 20 cups.
