Shoreview seeks Public Safety Committee applications

The Shoreview City Council is seeking applications from people interested in serving on the Public Safety Committee.

The Public Safety Committee assists and advises the city council in all policy matters relating to public safety including police, fire, paramedic service, animal control and emergency management.  The committee meets every other month on the third Thursday at 7 p.m.

Serving on a committee is one way members of the public can get involved with their city government. Members of city committees participate in discussions that affect and shape the future of the city, provide leadership and make recommendations to the city council.

Persons interested in serving on this committee must complete an application by visiting the city’s website at www.shoreviewmn.gov or by calling 651-490-4610.

Applications must be received by May 19.
