Confronting racisim events

Ever wanted to respond to racist remarks but didn’t know what to say? Head to “Confronting Racism: Minnesota Style,” a workshop presented by Alicia Sojourner of YWCA Minneapolis. Learn the tools to help you respond to overt and covert racism and help continue the work of eliminating racism.

The program is being held on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Roseville Library, 2180 Hamline Ave. N.

A second session called “Confronting Racism: Minnesota Style for Youth,” will be held Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Maplewood Library, 3025 Southlawn Drive. The program is geared towards youth in middle school and high school.
