Elder Cafe

The monthly East Side Elders’ Elder Cafe returns Thursday, Jan. 11 for a meal and conversation. This event’s topic will be about end-of-life conversations and decisions. The event will include information about health care directives, hospice and burial options. There will be representative from four, local organizations to share their knowledge about end-of-life decisions. 

The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at 463 Maria Ave. in the Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood. 

In order to keep the Elder Cafe events sustainable, East Side Elders is now charging $5 per event, which includes a meal. The organization also has punch cards available for $50, good for 12 meals. For those that may be financially burdened by the cost, please call East Side Elders at 651-683-2326 and they will work with you to help make it affordable.
