St. Paul Citywide Spring Cleanup

After a hiatus last year due to late snowfall, the St. Paul Citywide Spring Cleanup will return April 27, 9 to 11:30 a.m. at a variety of city parks to clean up trash that has been exposed from the melting snow. Anyone is welcome to join; bags, gloves, and snacks will be provided. Participants are asked to register for their preferred site at www.stpaul.gov so organizers can make sure there are enough supplies for everyone.

Clean up sites on the East Side will include:

• Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary - 265 Commercial St.

• Indian Mounds Picnic Pavilion - Intersection of Earl Street and Mounds Boulevard

• Phalen Picnic Pavilion - 1600 Phalen Drive

• Swede Hollow Park - Intersection of Greenbrier and Margaret streets

Participants are also invited to join in on the #trashtagSTP challenge. The #trashtag challenge is a new viral trend that challenges folks to take a before and after photo of an area they cleaned up and post it to social media using #trashtag. Participants are encouraged to get #trashtagSTP trending and show the world how much St. Paul cares about its parks and neighborhoods. Register for the Citywide Spring Cleanup, then share before and after photos using #trashtagSTP.
