Artmobile on the East Side

The East Side Art Council’s Artmobile returns this summer for a variety of free, drop-in youth art classes. The Artmobile’s first session will take place July 8 through 26, with classes taking place rain or shine from 1 to 3 p.m. The Artmobile will have the following schedule for its first session with teaching artists Daniel Rosas, Tamina Muhammad and Mayumi Amada:

• Mondays — Ames Lake neighborhood, 1144 Barclay St.

• Tuesdays — Hazel Park Recreation Center, 945 Hazel St. N.

• Wednesdays — McDonough Recreation Center, 1544 Timberlake Road

• Thursdays — Dayton’s Bluff Recreation Center, 800 Conway St.

• Fridays — Wilder Recreation Center, 958 Jessie St.

The Artmobile’s second session will take place July 29 through Aug. 16 and will include teaching artists Peter Morrow, Yang Yang and Caroline Alkire. The Artmobile’s second session schedule is as follows:

• Mondays — Arlington Hills Community Center, 1200 Payne Ave.

• Tuesdays — Hayden Heights Recreation Center, 1965 Hoyt Ave. E.

• Wednesdays — Highwood Hills Recreation Center, 2192 Londin Lane E.

• Thursdays — Duluth & Case Recreation Center, 1020 Duluth St.

• Fridays — Phalen Recreation Center, 1000 Wheelock Parkway
