Church of St. Patrick’s Fall Festival

The Church of St. Patrick in Inver Grove Heights is preparing for its Fall Festival, Sept. 12-15. This year the festivities will include the Attic Treasures Rummage Sale, taco dinner, festival food court, silent auction, inflatable slide, pull tabs and car show. All are welcome.

The festival kicks off Thursday Sept. 12 with the Attic Treasures Rummage Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring “gently used items in clean and good condition, including household goods, toys and books.” The rummage sale continues Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Donations for the rummage sale will be accepted from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 20, Aug. 23 and Sept. 3 at the east (lower parking lot) entrance to the church.   The committee is requesting that no clothes, exercise equipment, sporting goods, baby equipment or furniture be donated.

Things continue Saturday with mass at 4 p.m., and a taco dinner (with margaritas available) at 5 p.m., bingo, pull tabs, silent auction, Irish Yat-zee, showdown poker and other activities will be featured. 

Sunday’s activities begin at 11:30 a.m., and include the festival food court, featuring a pulled pork dinner, pasta bar, pizza, brats, hot dogs, popcorn, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, soft drinks, a beer tent, milk, coffee and more. Sunday’s activities also feature the inflatable slide, country store, cookie and bar walk, silent auction, bingo, Irish Yat-zee, pull tabs, children’s games and bottle shoppe. There will be a cash raffle drawing at 5 p.m. Sunday.

 Sunday will also include the 20th Annual Classic Motor Show, from noon to 4 p.m., with registration beginning at 10 a.m., and motorcycles are included. There will be an award ceremony at 4 p.m. Four trophies will be awarded by ballot for Best of Show, Spectator’s Choice, Spectator’s Choice Motorcycle and Pastor’s Choice.
