Missing South St. Paul girl found

An 11-year-old girl from South St. Paul was found safe Sept. 8, a day after she'd gone missing.

Madison "Maddie" Anne Jungbauer was reported missing Sept. 7 at around 9 a.m.  after she had last been seen at her home in the 1400 block of Concord Street South around midnight, according to a South St. Paul police press release.

According to the release, she left information behind suggesting she left willingly, and the investigation revealed she may have formed an online relationship with someone who was possibly involved in her leaving.

Further information, including where Jungbauer was located, has not been released.
