Sunday hikes start at 2:30 p.m., go approximately 5 miles and last one and a half hours to two hours. Tuesday hikes start at 7 p.m., go approximately 3 miles and last approximately one hour.

County genealogical society to present at second session of new book club

The Dakota County Historical Society (DCHS) will host its second “Books From Our Shelves” discussion on Thursday, April 18, at the Lawshe Memorial Museum from 7 to 8 p.m. The Lawshe Memorial Museum is located at 130 Third Ave. N. in South St.

After a hiatus last year due to late snowfall, the St. Paul Citywide Spring Cleanup will return April 27, 9 to 11:30 a.m. at a variety of city parks to clean up trash that has been exposed from the melting snow.
