Falcon Heights remembers Philando Castile with Restoration and Unity days

Shoreview and Falcon Heights councils up the age to buy tobacco products

The Shoreview and Falcon Heights city councils both voted to raise the legal age for buying tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, to 21. 

The aim of the age change is to make it harder for teens to have access to tobacco products.

New signs at Falcon Heights park detail its aviation past

By the time the Falcon Heights Community Engagement Commission holds it’s Spring Together event at Curtiss Field on Saturday, May 12, new signage should also be up at the park detailing its aviation past.

Gun scare in Falcon Heights ends peacefully


screenshot • Ramsey County Sheriff’s deputy Sam Loe responded to apartments at 1550 Larpenteur Ave. in Falcon Heights Feb. 23 on a weapons call, and eventually arrested a 14-year-old boy who’d been playing with a replica sniper rifle. The incident prompted community discussion about policing.

Falcon Heights eyes upping the age to purchase tobacco products in city

Falcon Heights Mayor Peter Lindstrom said he wasn’t aware that cities could set the age at which people could buy tobacco products.

“Honest to God, I didn’t even know that was an option cities could do,” he said.
