However, three cities, Little Canada, Shoreview and Vadnais Heights converge on the site, and Vadnais Heights has yet to give its municipal consent for the project over concerns about its impact, putting the county’s timeline into question.
Last summer, elected-officials celebrated after Gov. Mark Dayton signed a bonding bill that included $20.5 million for Ramsey County to rebuild the Rice Street bridge and interchange at Interstate 694.

One of the most striking features of Shoreview’s planned $13 million expansion and update of its community center is the tall windows that will wrap around the building, allowing plenty of light to enter the pool area. Patio seating will be available outside as well.
