Solomon Gustavo • Thomas Randle was sworn in as a St. Anthony City Council member by Mayor Jerry Faust after being appointed Dec. 12. He fills a seat that had been vacant since August.
The St. Anthony City Council seat that was vacant since Bonnie Brever’s resignation in August has been filled by Thomas Randle.
Randle will serve the rest of Brever’s term, which expires at the end of 2019.

The Village, LLC, which owns the Lowry Grove site, has regrouped since its development proposal was rejected by the St. Anthony City Council in October.
At its Nov. 14 meeting, the St. Anthony City Council decided to appoint a replacement to fill the council seat opened up by Bonnie Brever’s resignation in August.

Mirror Lake is man made, constructed in 1962 to provide flood protection and to store water.
