Teachers will take lessons to Haiti for spring break

Three educators will spend their spring break teaching art and science to kids in a Haitian orphanage.

With them will be six bins, 18 gallons each, filled with science and art supplies.

Shoreview gives OK to Owasso Boulevard rebuild


courtesy of Minnesota Department of Transportation The Minnesota Department of Transportation will soon begin work to add MnPASS lanes to both directions of traffic on Interstate 35W, out of Roseville at County Road C north to Lexington Avenue in Blaine.

A large project to reconstruct a little more than a mile of a south Shoreview residential road is expected to begin this summer.

The Shoreview City Council approved plans for the Owasso Boulevard North project during its Feb. 4 meeting.
