"Patriot/Traitor" at the Minnesota Fringe Festival

Date:
Thursday, August 3, 2017 - 5:30pm

Gene and Mary's marital squabbles take a backseat when Colleen and Riley arrive at their campsite with a thumb drive of top-secret government documents. Along with Mary's sister, Hannah, the group is plunged into an escalating debate about the role of government in keeping its citizens safe and the role of citizens in holding their government accountable. Meanwhile, night is falling, and the FBI is certainly on their way to apprehend Colleen and Riley; if they're going to make the documents public, time is running out. How far will each character go to convince the others of what they think is right?

St Anthony Resident Kelly Regan stars in the production. Kelly is a native of the Seattle area and has been living in Minnesota with her husband and two daughters for 3 years now. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from Eastern Washington University and has performed in film and on stage for going on 12 years. Notable roles include Adriana in A Comedy of Errors, The Witch in Into the Woods, and most recently, Mary Poppins with Saint Anthony Community Theater's 2016 production of the show. She has greatly enjoyed the Fringe experience, and looks forward to continuing her exploration of the vast performing arts community in the Twin Cities areas.
