Roseville Area Advocates for Minnesota Health Plan Jan. 9th event

Tuesday, January 9, 2018 - 6:30pm

Please join Roseville Area Advocates for Minnesota Health Plan
Guest speaker: Rose Roach, Exec. Director, MN Nurses Association

You are invited to a conversation with Rose Roach, Executive Director of the Minnesota Nurses Association, which advocates for nurses, patients, and quality care in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Prior to MNA, Roach was a leader in California advocating for a ballot initiative to establish a single-payer health care system in California. She is a native of St. Paul.

Ms. Roach is a dynamic speaker and a strong advocate who will highlight problems caused by the way our country delivers care, why we can no longer tinker with this broken system, and the actions we must take to make universal, single-payer health care a reality in Minnesota.

If you think it’s time for a healthcare system that covers everyone from cradle to grave while reducing costs through a publicly-financed, privately delivered system, we need you. Please come and help us begin organizing to make it happen! And, bring a friend or neighbor. If you simply want to learn more, we hope you will come as well.

The event is hosted by: Roseville Area Advocates for Minnesota Health Plan, and Health Care for All – Minnesota.

Check out Bill Moyers summary of Senator John Marty’s work for universal health care for all: Also, you can download a free copy of Senator Marty’s book Healing Health Care at:
