SECTION 420.01, SUBD. 6

OF THE ARDEN HILLS CITY

CODE REGARDING NUMBER

OF DOGS/CATS

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA,

ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Chapter 4 Animals and

Pets, Section 420.01 Regulations,

Subsection 6. Number of Dogs/Cats,

is hereby amended by adding the

underlined language as follows:

Chapter 4 – Animals and Pets

Section 420.01 – Regulations

Subd. 6 Number of Dogs/Cats.

No person shall keep more than

three (3) dogs or three (3) cats on

residentially zoned property. The

total number of combined licensed

animals per residentially zoned

property shall not exceed four (4).

Up to four (4) domestic animals are

permitted in any dwelling unit, but

without a residential dog kennel

license not more than two (2) may

be dogs. Up to three (3) dogs are

allowed with a residential dog kennel

license. Dog enclosures may be

located only in a rear yard in all

zoning districts.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance

shall become effective immediately

upon its passage and publication

according to law.

day of February, 2019, by the City

that the City Council of the City of

Shoreview, Minnesota, will meet

making of an improvement by

installing water main and other

necessary appurtenances in that

DISCUSSION

1. Open Enrollment

Transportation Guidelines

The District no longer receives

Desegregation / Integration funds

to assist with the transportation

costs for open enrolled students.

The transportation fee for open

enrolled students for the 2018- 2019

school year is $300. Administration

recommended, and the School

Board agreed, to raise the fee to

$325 for the 2019 – 2020 school

year.

2. Safety Management

Administration discussed the health

and safety initiatives implemented

over the past year including, the

updated district wide Emergency

Operation Plan and the Visitor

Management System at the

elementary and secondary building.

3. School Lunch Funds

Administration discussed the impact

the Federal Government shutdown

will have on the District’s federally

funded school lunches.

REPORTS

Superintendent Dr. Renee Corneille

thanked the community for their

support during the ‘polar vortex’ (4

days of no school).

School Board Members attended

the following meetings and events:

World’s Best Workforce; SAAC;

Reimagine Minnesota; AMSD; SAV

for the Future; WPPA; WMEP; and

a joint meeting with the City of St.

Anthony.
