The other day while I was driving, my monitor was busy. The local dispatchers were sending out requests for a number of ambulance calls. My thoughts went back to previous years when at times the fire chief and the police chief went out to the local ambulance and rushed to an emergency.

The apple tree - a good analogy

The cherry tree is a beautiful white. The blossoms are big and gorgeous. The apple trees are a mixture of green leaves and white blossoms. Without the blooming stage, they would produce no fruit. Taking proper care of the trees brings better fruit.
Some people really bloom also.

Elizabeth Couture, daughter of Jeff and Barb Couture, of Orange Avenue has been named to the dean’s list at Otterbein College for the 2006 Winter quarter.

Students must be full-time with a grade point average of at least 2.60 to qualify for the dean’s lists.
