Sporting high heels, the women's heat takes off for the 100-meter race, "Heal the Soul: A High Heel Shoe Race to Bring Awareness to Domestic Violence." The event raised funds for Tubman during the Taste of Maplewood Aug. 7. Thirty women and 10 children will die this year by an abuser.
