Every year the pine squirrel digs a shallow midden, filling it with enough rations to last the winter.
The Zicks do the same for the North St. Paul Area Emergency Food Shelf, only they save up provisions for the summer months.

Order for drive-up window stalls in Lake Elmo

Prior to March 21, Lake Elmo restaurateur Ed Gorman had collected over 400 signatures on a petition in favor of him adding drive-up window service to his 26-year-old restaurant off of Highway 5. Since that time, he said he’s collected several hundred more.
